Now, more than ever, Israel needs us. This CYP Encounter Israel trip is more than just an experience, it is a mission.

Join Jewish young professionals ages 18 to 49 from around the world for a unique opportunity to support Israeli communities and individuals deeply impacted by the war. This trip, in partnership with Birthright’s volunteer initiative, is designed to bolster and uplift those in need through hands on service, connection, and solidarity.

While giving back, you will also immerse yourself in Israel’s vibrant culture, explore its rich history, and experience an unforgettable Shabbat in Jerusalem.

Houston Trip Dates and Group Flights

Dates Monday-Wednesday, Dec 22-31, 2025

Group flight departs from Houston IAH Dec 22 at 3:30 pm and returns IAH Dec 31 at 2:30 pm. Participants can extend their flights as well.

Application Process

  1. Step One: Fill out the CYP Encounter Israel application – APPLY HERE.
  2. Step Two: Once accepted, you will receive an email with instructions to register on Birthright and complete their process, including paying the additional $600 fee or selecting the alternative flight option.
  3. Step Three: Finalize your travel details and get ready for an incredible experience of giving and growth.

Total Cost: $1,200 $600*

$600 Birthright Contribution Covers:

  • Round trip flights if joining from group flight locations
  • Accommodations in Jerusalem with hotel breakfast
  • Mandatory daily volunteering, four hours per day
  • Transportation for volunteer activities
